Position Summary Work closely with processors, underwriters and title/settlement companies to prepare the final closing disclosure and closing package, reviewing documents to ensure conditions are met and maintain regulatory compliance with all applicable laws. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepares loan documents for closing in a timely manner and verifies all documents in funding package have been completed properly.
  • Prepare and review loan files to ensure all conditions are cleared and file is ready to close.
  • Reviews all final closing numbers for accuracy with (title or borrower) prior to closing.
  • Coordinate delivery of closing documents to the settlement agent and coordinate receipt of Closing Disclosure.
  • Review Closing Disclosure for compliance with closing instructions, balance closing numbers and verify tolerances are within guidelines and disclosed fees.
  • Follow up on outstanding conditions to facilitate timely loan funding.
  • Employee will obtain essential documentation to disburse funds in accordance with investor and RESPA guidelines. Verify and balance funding figures to wire final loans proceeds to Title.
  • Ensure funds are available day of loan disbursement.
  • Employee will review and follow up on Final Closing Disclosure.
  • Clears files for final funding.
  • Coordinate wire requests with settlement agent to fund loan.

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of residential mortgage closing and funding.
  • Ability to maintain a knowledge of lending guidelines, investor programs, industry requirements, and industry changes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of professional integrity.
  • Maintains a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with co-workers and supervisor.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
  • Attention to detail and quality focused.
  • Encompass experience preferred.
