to run a straightforward CNC stringer machine that serves as the first step in our production process. The machine itself is not complex - but
the accuracy of data entry is critical
. If this position is not staffed and running correctly, all downline production stops.
We are looking for dependable, reliable individuals with some experience in CNC machine operation, although specificity in the stringer machine is not required. This is a ultra-high-detail position that requires data entry of components according to production sheets, blueprints and technical drawings.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a simple CNC machine to manufacture stringers for staircases using
engineer-provided paperwork and specifications
.
Accurately and precisely enter data into the CNC machine such as measurements, dimensions, and other exact job data.
Verify all inputs before running jobs and perform quality checks upon completion to prevent downstream errors.
Monitor machine operation and flag issues immediately.
Collaborate with production leads, engineers, and other team members to meet daily production goals, including during downtime.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail:
accuracy matters more than speed.
High reliability
: attendance and punctuality are essential to the production line.
Comfortable following written instructions and technical paperwork.
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machines.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for output.
At least 1 year CNC machine operator experience preferred but not required - we will train the right person.
