Job Overview

As an Entry-Level CNC Machinist, you'll assist with the setup, operation, and inspection of CNC lathes and mills. This position is ideal for individuals with limited experience or recent technical training who want to grow their skills in a professional manufacturing environment.

You'll receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced machinists.

Responsibilities

Operate and assist in the setup of CNC lathes and milling machines

Learn to read blueprints, part drawings, and technical instructions

Inspect parts for quality and accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Support senior machinists and production supervisors as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required

Basic understanding of machining or mechanical aptitude preferred

Willingness to learn and take direction

Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
