Job Description

What you can expect in this role:
NOTE: This is a 2nd shift position, typical hours are 3:00-11:30 pm
Performs variety of technical engineering support activities to assist with designing, producing and troubleshooting Company products and processes.
Supports engineers in planning and designing work. May perform activities such as fabricating, assembling, verifying, troubleshooting, maintaining and testing in support of engineering projects. Identifies objectives, recognizes outcomes and develops and implements solutions.
Develops and recommends procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation.
Monitors and inspects completed and in-process work. May perform tests and write test reports and instructions to ensure quality standards are met. Documents results and creates problem statements, procedures and methods. Performs problem analysis. Performs technical evaluation of events to determine root cause and recommends corrective action. Compiles and analyzes engineering data, patterns and other information and draws conclusions.
Prepares layouts and specifications. Reviews and analyzes drawings for feasibility, performance, safety and durability.
Maintains bills of materials and creates change orders.

What you will need to succeed:
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associate\'s degree or equivalent preferred.
Ability to use schematic drawings for fabrication, analysis and problem solving, if applicable.
Ability to read, interpret and carry-out technical instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Technical aptitude.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good computer skills; Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.
Strong math skills and ability to work with units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent; and draw and interpret bar graphs.
