Your Responsibilities

As an Engineering Supervisor, Test Design for ISG located in Fargo, ND, you will provide daily supervision of administrative and technical issues for the Test Design Team. The position is responsible to achieve timely completion of functional test systems and improve Test Design efficiency for multiple development programs. Operates in a team environment and may act as lead person, providing technical leadership and solutions for complex technical issues. Responsible for direct reports within the Test Design team and may be responsible for shared management of global resources. Recognized as an expert in Test Design across the ISG organization. In addition, you will:

  • Supervise the development of functional test systems for multiple Product Development Process (PDP) to ensure that the product program goals are met
  • Perform administrative duties related to performance management, salary pay plan, succession planning, resource planning, training, and development of direct reports
  • Provide strategic leadership, vision, mentoring, training, and counsel to employees in the Test Design team
  • Provide technical support on Test Design related issues to cross functional team members

What Skills You Need
  • 5 years of experience with product design or testing of electronics
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Understanding of the Product Delivery Process
  • Understanding of project management
  • Good organization and prioritization skills (multi-tasking)
  • Good written and verbal communications skills (English)
  • Ability to independently interface with partners and customers

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering from an accredited engineering program (or equivalent)
