Are you a results-driven, team-oriented engineering leader? This is the opportunity for you! As an Engineering Services Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to manage functional teams through program execution for our products and services. These cover a very wide range, from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You will represent your functional department at all management-level meetings. You\'ll ensure that your functional department\'s deliverables meet the program schedules, are obtained in a timely manner and engineering hours expended are productive, meeting program goals and budgets. You will own and continuously improve processes and procedures, oversee training of staff, and provide technical direction.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains \xe2\x80\x93 air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Must-haves:

Bachelors of Science degree a related discipline

Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

Experience leading cross functional events

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Experience briefing senior DoD leaders

Experience working with the US Military

Ability to access DoD installations

Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Preferred:

Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience

  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Previous management experience; exposure to recruiting employees; assigning, directing, and evaluating their work; and overseeing the development and maintenance of staff competence

Experience with identifying and coordinating resources to ensure the required tools, processes, and training are available/effective and programs are staffed and supported to achieve success

Understanding of how to prepare project schedules, budgets, bids, and estimates for proposed program work packages

Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Experience in direct intelligence support to Joint Special Operations

Experience briefing/interacting at the senior DoD levels

Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
