Knowles Precision Devices is seeking a Engineering Project Manager to support and manage the development of new product introductions as well as manage the technical interactions of our global engineering teams. For NPI projects, this position will monitor and control project progress, manage milestone schedules, coordinate across departments and facilities while adhering to the required industry standards, with emphasis on ISO and AS9100 and AS9145 compliance. For supporting our non-US engineering teams, this position will serve as the technical liaison for ITAR related engineered to order opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with RF Engineers, RF Engineering Manager and Product Line Management
Administrate and manage stage and gate processes, documentation and milestone adherence for NPI projects
Work with key stakeholders across the organization and multiple locations
Planning, scheduling and reporting for all responsible projects. Provide material and updates for senior management reviews.
Serve as technical liaison between US based engineering team and global engineering team for custom engineered to order opportunities.
Communicate with external customers regarding technical requirements.
Identify and resolve issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure successful project outcomes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field required with a minimum of 5 years of related technical project management experience.
Certified PMP or equivalent certificate preferred
Experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment
Experience with new product introduction lifecycle and stage gate process.
Experience with wireless, RF, Microwave, or defense products and systems preferred
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Workfront, SharePoint etc.
Meticulous attention to detail to manage complex tasks, documentation, and administrative procedures.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting salary for this role is targeted to be between $85,000 to $110,000.
Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Knowles, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
