What will you be doing?

  • Executing the Reserve Study process from start to finish.
  • Managing relationships with clients.
  • Setting your own schedule which includes in the field and in-office time.
  • Maintaining responsibility for successful execution of simultaneous projects within set time
frames and budgets.
  • Conducting site and building inspections, documenting building conditions, analyzing data, and
drafting technical reports.
  • Leading internal reviews of inspection findings while justifying decisions with supporting
information.
  • Learning at your own pace through our structured training program.
  • Meaningfully adding to our office and culture as we grow this office and region.
Do you:
  • Have a bachelor\'s degree in Engineering? This could include Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical,
Geotechnical, Industrial, or other disciplines.
  • Have experience conducting reserve studies or property condition assessments?
  • Enjoy speaking to others, providing thoughtful service to clients, and adapting your style to work
with a variety of personalities/stakeholders?
  • Have an active PE license in the state of North Carolina?
  • Provide critical thinking skills and problem-solving techniques to customers and clients?
  • Prioritize, organize, and juggle multiple projects/clients at one time?
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills?
  • Showcase analytical, detail orientation and field inspection skills?
  • Have command with technologies: Adobe, Microsoft Office, and the Google web platform?
  • Like to travel with occasional overnight trips, for required field visits?
  • Have a valid driver\'s license?

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited school

4+ years working experience in an Engineering capacity, preferably in the construction/insurance or similar industry

PE license required

Proven strong communication skills with a variety of clients and ability to project manage multiple ongoing projects

General understanding of reserve studies or similar product

Working Conditions

Overnight and out of town travel possible with working days being spent outside. Extended hours possible. In office, standard office environment with frequent computer use.
