Houston, TX: E2E Tank Solution is hiring for a Contract Position / 1099 / Full-time, Contract / TWIC Card Job Title: Mechanical Engineer with Project Management Experience Location: Midstream Terminal : As a mechanical engineer with project management experience at a midstream terminal, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment in the facility. You will work closely with other engineers, operators, and maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the terminal\'s mechanical systems. Your primary duties will include:

  • Managing projects related to mechanical systems, including scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, and progress tracking.
  • Conducting mechanical design, analysis, and optimization of equipment and systems such as pumps, compressors, turbines, piping, and valves.
  • Reviewing and approving mechanical designs and specifications from contractors and vendors.
  • Conducting inspections and tests to verify compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing technical support to operations and maintenance personnel during start-up, shutdown, and normal operations.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Collaborating with other departments and external stakeholders to identify and implement best practices and new technologies.
  • Participating in safety audits, hazard analyses, and incident investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management within the midstream industry.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including API, ASME, and OSHA.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, analysis, and optimization principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to work in a field environment, including occasional travel to other facilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour Experience level:
