Position Summary
This position is to support the Medium Caliber Ammunition Load Assemble and Pack Operation and is responsible for executing capital projects, overseeing large scale mechanical upgrades, and working with process engineering to implement proactive equipment upgrades that improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of all NRE operations. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 2 years of experience OR a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree for a Level 2
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 5 years of experience OR a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 3 years of experience for a Level 3
  • Must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
  • Must be able to obtain clearance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and Explosives as an Employee Possessor.
  • Must pass RFAAP badging requirements, including background check and drug screening.
Essential Functions
  • Lead major mechanical design and installation projects with a focus on cost, schedule, and robust design.
  • Create and maintain drawings for all new and existing equipment and layouts.
  • Actively troubleshoot and conceive of unique solutions to persistent manufacturing problems.
  • Develop ideas for capital expenditure projects that will increase process efficiency and decrease manufacturing costs.
  • Work in a team environment and function as a leader in mechanical and design solutions to process engineering problems.
  • Participate on teams to help make necessary improvements and changes to all process related issues in the Operations department.
Physical Requirements to Perform Essential Functions

  • Ability to operate a computer.

Salary Range: $66,600 USD - $99,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $82,000 USD - $123,000 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
