As a Data Analyst you will be joining Product Performance Team, who is responsible for the reporting of and management of reliability data on Collins Aerospace components. In this role you will be an integral member of the team, responsible for compiling incoming data feeds from different sources and loading them into a central tool for consumption.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.

What YOU will do:

• You will do data collection, curation, analysis, and visualization.
• You will perform data cleaning using Python.
• You will extract, transform, and load data from different feeds.
• You will generate and execute database DDL, DML
• You will perform data quality checks.
• You will create and maintain scripts/macros in Python and VBA
• You will automate the data analytics process from raw data into final output.
• You will create and maintain Tableau dashboards given written requirements.
• You will do statistical analysis to quantify completeness and validity of a data source.
• You will support team with any ad-hoc data related tasks.

Education & Experience:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Skills you must have:

• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated experience navigating competing priorities, achieving the highest level of engagement, and delivering successful outcomes in critical situations.

Skills we value:

• Degree in Math, Data Science, or Computer Science
• Aerospace industry experience
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, especially Excel skills related to v-lookups, macros, VBA, etc.
• Knowledge/Experience in Agile methodologies
• Tableau and/or any other visualization tool experience
• Experience with Databases and SQL
• Experience with Python
