OVERVIEW: Employee Relations Consultant, Operations, plays a role in creating a great place to work by instilling confidence in the front-line leaders and employees that they are unbiased and neutral in facilitating resolution to employee relations issues and concerns. The role provides education and guidance on ER related inquiries from employees and front-line leaders, elevating issues as appropriate and/or leveraging various additional support departments (i.e., payroll, benefits, talent, etc.) to deliver high quality ER services. The role performs a variety of professional-level responsibilities of low to moderate complexity to enhance the employee relations function. This includes, but is not limited to, advising employees and front-line leaders for assigned business units/clients on various employee relations issues, such as employee counseling, progressive discipline, involuntary terminations, driving consistent policy interpretation and application, and providing other support necessary for championing and driving a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and fairness.
