Your Role

You will serve as a strategic partner to leadership in Washington, D.C. to elevate the workplace experience for our team members by always being one step ahead. Strengthen employee purpose, ignite energy, elevate office-wide performance and enable an exceptional team member experience by activating, facilitating and enhancing moments that matter throughout the year.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with key teams in support of office culture to include committees for Race & Diversity, Community Impact, Holiday Party, and Bonus/Promotions Day
  • Primary lead on planning, logistics, event management and other related activities for key in-person external meetings and events not handled by the Global Meetings and Events Team to include Southeast Region and D.C. Firmwide meetings/retreat hosted in D.C. office, Partners\xe2\x80\x99 retreat, Leadership\xe2\x80\x99s events and client events (e.g. Red Party), coordinate training program logistics (negotiate room blocks/restaurants)
  • Primary advisor for the design and delivery of private client engagements, e.g. DCA Live offsite events
  • Work closely with office leaders and Marketing Director to manage D.C. office external events: budget, registrations, tables, memberships, etc.
  • Partner with Sports and Affinity Clubs to manage registrations and internal communications
  • Facilities and Catering contract negotiation support to Office Services team members as needed
  • Act as a hospitality ambassador for the office with an integral role in daily business and key client interactions
  • Maintain a finger-on-the-pulse of team member engagement by building relationships and having a consistent presence and interaction with team members
  • Serve as a resource for new team members, guiding them to resources to support their start in the D.C. office through the D.C. Office Experience SharePoint site and Welcome Email
  • Maintain and update Office Experience SharePoint site and all-office communications via email and Teams as they relate to cultural activities such as Bonus Day, Promotions Day, Holiday Party, Race & Diversity Committee events, Staff Meetings/Happy Hours, Community Impact events, and Sports clubs


Your Qualifications
  • Passion for people and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Relevant bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required, master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred (Hospitality Management, Business Management, Communications, etc.)
  • 10+ years of experience with management of office/facilities, teams, employee experience, and event planning
  • Strong customer service background
  • Experience successfully managing and motivating a team
  • Approachable personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong facilitation, team building, relationship, and problem-solving skills
  • A demonstrated ability to partner with the business to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identify/implement efforts to help achieve goals
  • High attention to detail, organized with strong follow-through
