Title: Embedded Software Engineer - 95542
Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain code employed in John Deere precision ag systems
• Work with stakeholders to develop solutions to meet customer needs
• Work with other software engineers to resolve complex issues and align on solutions
• Work with customers to understand where systems could be improved and share those findings with development teams.

What Skills You Need

• 1 or more years\' experience C++ coding experience

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience working with leading team decisions and gaining consensus
• Developing software in the precision guidance space (at least 1 year)
• Experience with software development and usage of custom analysis tools
• Experience with CAN networks and working with interfaces
• Experience testing frameworks including Google Test and Froglogic Squish
• Experience with production agricultural practices
• Experience with ISG Gen4 development practices

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field.
• Coursework in software development
