Responsibilities

As an Embedded Software Engineer for Auto Guidance applications, you will become a contributing member of a team, focused on the development of Auto Guidance and GNSS embedded software applications that run on CNHi\xe2\x80\x99s next-generation embedded controllers. The software you create will control various functions of CNHi tractors, sprayers, and harvesters and enable a wide range of Auto guidance features.

• Design, develop, test, and debug software components used for electronically controlled systems on various Agriculture & Forestry products while working within a defined development framework and coding standards
• Participate within a SAFe Agile-based software development team and collaborate with cross-functional product design teams developing various Precision Agriculture features
• Participate in SAFe Agile daily standups, Sprint/PI Planning, Sprint Demos, Retros, and other Sprint Events
• Utilize software tools and electronic instruments to troubleshoot and debug embedded system

This role pays-$101,000-$146,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

• Engineer with 2+ years of career experience, with Bachelors\' degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. 1+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with master\xe2\x80\x99s degree. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience designing & developing embedded / electronic systems from concept to release
• Experience in Electrical and/or Software Engineering performing analysis, design, and testing for embedded software projects
• Experience with Embedded C, C++ programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience Model Based Software Design, preferably MathWorks (Simulink/Stateflow/Real-Time Workshop)
• Understanding of Automotive networking protocols such as CAN, J1939
• Experience with embedded systems tools such as compilers, debuggers, simulators, etc.
• Experience with software versioning, repository management, and package management tools
• Experience with continuous integration development, using automated build and test practices
• Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
• Experience in Embedded Software Development for mobile equipment applications
• Experience with Electro-Hydraulic or vehicle control systems for on/off-highway vehicle systems
• Experience with automated testing (LABview, CAPL, etc)
• Team player who is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Agile development, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or similar methodologies
• Familiarity with Java programming language
• Prior experience with Linux OS (Ubuntu)
