The Role
You will be entrusted with:
FOR DECORATORS:
Decorate cakes and pastries with advanced techniques: piping, fondant, airbrushing, and layered finishes.
Design and decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications.
Proven ability to work efficiently, cleanly, and collaboratively.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Prepare and bake various cake bases, fillings, and frostings.
Excellent attention to detail and artistic ability to create visually appealing designs.
FOR BAKERS:
Produce layers, breads, and pastries and that consistently meet or exceed our exacting standards for texture, flavor, and presentation.
Deep knowledge of baking science, pastry arts, and visual presentation.
FOR ALL:
Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and food safety protocols.
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance kitchen alongside other seasoned professionals.
Collaborate with team members to fulfil large orders or special requests efficiently.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
Stay updated on current trends in cake decoration to continually enhance skills and offerings.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen.
Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution.
A portfolio that demonstrates mastery across baking, pastry, and cake decoration.
Proven experience in food production or preparation, particularly in baking and cake decorating.
A background in production facility preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
