General

Dogwood Industries is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team in Sedro-Woolley, WA. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical assembly in a production line or manufacturing setting. While this position does not require an electrical license, general wiring and electrical knowledge is required. A successful candidate will have experience with technical administration and first article wiring experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical materials (wiring, devices, lighting, equipment)
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, circuit maps, work orders, or reports
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
• Quality assurance of diagrams, wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits
• Quality assurance for testing functional performance
• Maintain testing equipment and obtain required calibrations
• Assemble fabricated parts and coordinate with other manufacturing departments as required
• Prepare and apply required labeling
• Prepare and package product for shipment
• Familiarity with UL requirements
• Experience managing a team
• Manage work load and enforce policies and procedures

Requirements

• Technical ability to interpret drawings and specifications
• Technical ability to perform assembly
• Technical ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that could result in non-conformance
• Computer skills as required to access drawings, specifications, bills of materials and schedules
• Physical ability to handle components, equipment and tooling
• Excellent communication in English with the ability to express ideas, collaborate with team members and provide information, in both oral and written communication

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

This position requires moderate physical activity in a factory environment. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body. The employee must be able to spend time standing at a work station and balance for extended periods of time; be able to move over and around obstacles; be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight or pull and push material and equipment with assistance from crew members. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.

Compensation

$25.00 \xe2\x80\x93 $37.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and shop drawings.
• Two years\' experience with electrical assembly

Location

This position is located at the Dogwood Sedro-Woolley, WA office. Remote/hybrid options are not available, at this time.
