job summary:
A rapidly growing industry leading capital equipment developer is looking for an Electrical Designer to join their team near Rochester, New York. This company is projected to double in size over the next 5 years. They currently have equipment being used in the medical field, homeland security, oil & gas, and NFL broadcasting. This position will be responsible for the electrical aspects of design, development and manufacturing of specialized equipment.

The salary is commensurate with experience up to $85K plus an annual bonus and excellent health & retirement benefits.

responsibilities:

• Responsible for the electrical aspects of design, development, and manufacturing for custom equipment

• Create, edit, and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD

• Performs design of equipment controls and drafting for current and future projects

• Researches and specifies components

• Meets with client to review project status

• Advises electrical production to ensure work is performed in an accurate manner and provides technical support as needed

• Performs final check out and inspection based on client\'s needs

• Prepares layout drawings for assembly and manufacturing of products

• Collaborates with Engineers to determine equipment design
