Job Description



The San Diego Business Center is looking for an ELDP Supervisor to coordinate the ELDP Program in San Diego. This is a part-time position accounting for approximately 10-20% of your time.

Our ELDP Program provides a best-in-class junior level leadership development experience for BAE Systems. We focus on helping our folks explore a variety of disciplines and programs, developing and enhancing their skillset, and providing networking opportunities to help them make lasting connections to prepare them for leadership roles in the future.

This role is critical to achieving the Human Capital aspect of our HEAT Strategy and is a key contributor to the Source pillar of our key strategic action to "Source, sponsor, and promote diversity, inclusion & equity at all levels in the organization."

In this role:

  • You are a functional supervisor for 10-14 ELDP engineers, including typical functional responsibilities including PDR assessments, goal setting, expense and time reporting, and Year End Salary discussions
  • You support program transitions and ELDP role transitions for each ELDP approximately once per year
  • You coordinate and execute monthly trainings as well as bi-weekly functional meetings
  • You coordinate attendance at the LDC (Leadership Development Conference) and Mid-year LDC
  • You lead the interviews and selection of a new cohort of ELDP participants annually
  • You manage metrics, budget plans, and supplementary ELDP participant roles
  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status

Pay Information:
Salary Range: $109,120-$185,460
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not
limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity,
as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
