Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Supports/Guides business unit leadership as it relates to safety, health & environmental programs

\xc2\xb7 Assists leadership in development of a \xe2\x80\x9cPlan for Zero\xe2\x80\x9d to achieve a \xe2\x80\x9cbeyond zero\xe2\x80\x9d safety culture

\xc2\xb7 Ensures customer safety, health & environmental requirements are incorporated into the safety program

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates safety activities, with operations, to ensure implementation of safety activities

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates Safety, Health & Environmental Assessments at each site within business unit

\xc2\xb7 Maintains safety and environmental metrics for business unit

\xc2\xb7 Ensures recordkeeping is accurate (OSHA 300, IMSS or HSE)

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates site safety technical support with EHS Director and Site Manager

\xc2\xb7 Assists EHS Director in development and implementation of a world class EHS Management System

\xc2\xb7 Coordinates customer request for safety services and manage projects accordingly

\xc2\xb7 Represents ATS in EHS audit reviews conducted by third parties and communicates trends in audit findings, corrective actions, & observed best practices

\xc2\xb7 Communicates information regarding new regulations and provides direction for compliance

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:

Essential KSAs:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and 10+ years of experience in a related area

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulations affecting industry specific practices and activities, including OSHA & EPA regulation

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and site

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of related industry\xe2\x80\x99s technologies, processes, innovations, issues and initiatives

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)

\xc2\xb7 Problems solving / RCA

Desirable KSAs:

\xc2\xb7 Certified Safety Professional or Industrial Hygienist

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management

\xc2\xb7 Supervisory experience

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, speak, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods, reach with arms, and use close vision. At times, the employee is required to use a telephone, a keyboard and computer, and other office equipment. Work is typically performed in a moderately noisy business office.
