This position works under minimum supervision to perform assigned tasks and coordinate assigned initiatives through completion. The position will maintain effective working relationships with others.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned task with minimum guideance from supervison
• Organize and analyze issue specific information and make appropriate recommendations
• Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initatives through completion
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare and present routine reports
• Participate in special project and committee assignments as requested
• Lead routine problem solving efforts
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 8 yrs related job experience; Or 2 yr Associate degree in related science and 6 yrs related experience; Or 4 yrs Bachelors degree in related science and 4 yrs related job experience
• Proficient computer skills in standard Windows programs (Excel, Word, etc)
• Team work and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries
• Able to communicate routine issues effectively through written and verbal communication
• Maintain effective working relationships across organizational boundaries
• Broad understanding of power plant equipment and systems interrelationships
• Broad understanding of economic drivers to the business
• Able to apply systematic problem solving processes to address routine issue
