POSITION SUMMARY

Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children Support children's growth in cognitive, physical, social/emotional, and spiritual domains Maintaining training and certification requirements Use observations and assessments to create engaging and research-based learning environments Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

QUALIFICATIONS

Must meet the experience and training qualifications requirements according to Oregon's Rules for Certified Child Care Centers by having attained ONE of the following

:

An Associate Degree in early childhood education or a related field OR 6 months full-time experience teaching in a certified center classroom OR At least a step 6 in the Oregon Registry Online (ORO) OR CDA (Child Development Associate) credential

Physical Requirements

These physical requirements must be met in order to successfully perform this teaching job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:

Walk on a frequent basis. Stand or sit for long periods of time. Lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and 50 pounds as needed.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.25 - $19.00 per hour
