Description: We are seeking an experienced and reliable On-Demand Freelance drywall finisher/painter to join our team. As a finisher/painter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing new drywall and preparing it for final paint. This is a sub-contracting position with a focus on single-family houses, providing flexibility to work on weekends or as a side job.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to service requests for drywall finishing and painting work in distressed single-family homes Install, repair, and finish drywall, ensuring smooth and even surfaces Prepare surfaces for painting by filling cracks and holes, sanding, and applying primer Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces, following specifications and desired color schemes Patch, blend, and touch up paint as needed Match and mix paint colors to ensure consistency Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment Follow safety procedures and regulations while working on job sites
Requirements:

Proven experience as a drywall finisher and painter Strong knowledge of drywall installation and repair techniques Proficiency in applying paint and other finishes Ability to work independently and on an as-needed basis Excellent time-management and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and quality Availability to work on short notice, weekends, and evenings Own transportation and tools Experience in working on single-family homes preferred
