SUMMARY

Oversee daily administration and supervision of Drop Count Associates and Drop Count processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Provides guidance to Drop Count Associates in order to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Coaches and counsels team members as needed while providing input to management for performance evaluations.
  • Maintains and monitors equipment and supplies to ensure effective working environment.
  • Performs training of assigned employees to meet business needs.
  • Oversees and assists in the removal and subsequent count of cash proceeds from electronic gaming machines, ticket redemption machines, poker, and table games.
  • Coordinates drop schedules with casino operations and cage management.
  • Ensures that required reports are provided to Gaming Accounting in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a clean working environment
  • Protects Casino assets.
  • Ensures drop is complete by designated time.
  • Promotes a positive team and customer service philosophy.
  • Reports any suspicious activity to the supervisor and security.
  • Wears steel toed shoes.
  • Wears company issued uniform.
  • Meets with employees individually.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Lead and/or guide the work of other employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 1-year experience in both drop and count is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to handle a large amount of money.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic Computer skills.
  • Must complete all required training and safety objectives.
  • Willing to assist other properties.
  • Willing and able to be on call or work high volume days/holidays.
  • Has completed some leadership training.
  • Exhibits leadership qualities on one or more of the teams.
  • Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License and or Oklahoma Horse Racing License.
  • Must have a valid driver\'s license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled environment with some exposure to smoke and loud noise. Requires physical exertion during the performance of majority of the duties. Work is performed while standing, walking, or sitting with occasional need to lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, and feel. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.
