Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a professional with a strong driving record, experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. The Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient route delivery operations and supporting warehouse functions as needed.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and courier vans to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed. Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally with clients and addressing any concerns. Assist with warehouse activities including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining inventory records. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip. Support other logistical tasks such as heavy lifting, moving items within the warehouse, or assisting with route planning as needed.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driver or similar certifications preferred. Prior delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or commercial vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving goods safely. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems for efficient deliveries. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is desirable. Warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards at all times.
