Responsibilities

Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations according to scheduled routes. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring delivery satisfaction. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly. Accurately complete delivery documentation, including logs, receipts, and delivery confirmation forms. Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Collaborate with team members to coordinate load & unload operations and ensure timely deliveries. Operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely when required for handling heavy or bulky items. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks. Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation tools to optimize delivery schedules. Ability to work independently while managing multiple deliveries throughout the day. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform manual tasks regularly. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
