Job Description


Transco Courier is a last mile Company and is seeking to hire a Driver Recruiter. The Driver Recruiter is responsible for, interviewing, and hiring drivers for last mile delivery operations. The specific job responsibilities of a last mile driver recruiter may vary depending on the day but generally, they include: **This Position is 6 hours a day (9am to 3pm) Monday to Friday.** Duties:

  • Job Posting: Creating and posting job descriptions for last mile driver positions on job boards, company websites, and other platforms.
  • Sourcing Candidates: Actively sourcing and identifying potential candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking, referrals, and other methods.
  • Screening Candidates: Reviewing resumes and applications, conducting initial phone screenings, and scheduling interviews.
  • Interviewing Candidates: Conducting in-person or virtual interviews with potential candidates, assessing their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the position.
  • Conducting Background Checks: Verifying employment history, references, and conducting criminal background checks as necessary.
  • Making Job Offers: Extending job offers to successful candidates and negotiating terms of employment, including salary, benefits, and working conditions.
  • Onboarding:Coordinating the onboarding process for new last mile drivers, including orientation, training, and the completion of required paperwork.
  • Maintaining Records: Maintaining accurate records of all recruitment and hiring activities, including candidate information, interview notes, and job offer details.
  • Reporting:Reporting:Reporting: ReportingRReporting: Preparing and presenting reports to management on recruitment and hiring metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and retention rates.
  • Collaborating with Operations: Working closely with the last mile operations team to ensure that drivers are hired in a timely manner to meet business needs.
  • Collaborating with HR: Coordinating with the human resources team to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to hiring and employment.
