The responsibility of this position is managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. Responsibilities

Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driver or courier roles preferred Proven experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles in a delivery or courier capacity Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or pallets Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools is a plus Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols for heavy lifting and moving operations Prior experience with manual transmission vehicles is desirable but not mandatory; training provided if needed

Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods Deliver products to customers promptly while providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel consumption Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports Assist with warehouse activities such as order picking, inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance schedules
