Responsibilities

Safely operate various vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load, secure, and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and manual lifting techniques Plan optimal delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while maintaining efficiency Provide exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and route documentation Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and supporting loading/unloading processes Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safe driving practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks efficiently and safely Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus; certification preferred but not required Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures and inventory movement Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driver classifications is advantageous Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
