Duties

Safely operate Cargo van and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes, ensuring on-time arrivals. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain optimal safety standards. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adjusting as needed for traffic or weather conditions to maximize productivity. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong track record in route driving. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo safely. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills for route planning and documentation accuracy. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
