Responsibilities

Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of goods Plan and follow optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and punctuality Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety regulations Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, heavy lifting, and organizing stock for delivery preparation Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records for accountability

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience involving box trucks or similar vehicles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Experience handling heavy lifting and moving items safely in warehouse or delivery settings Knowledge of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning software is preferred
