Essential Job Functions:
Carries out and attains the mission and goals of K9 Resorts.
Assure all guests are cared for in compliance with the company goals.
Maintain a strong resorts culture and lead by following Company Values and Mission.
Be familiar with budgets, revenue, and controllable expenses.
Responsible for maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and feedback.
Monitor/measure customer satisfaction.
Follows all operational procedures as outlined in the K9 Resorts Operations Manual.
Responsible for assisting the resort management in running the business.
Supervises all Front-End Staff and Back-End Staff.
Greets all customers coming into the building.
Knowledgeable of all basic functions of the point-of-sale system.
Accepts payment from customers.
Answers telephone inquiries.
Responsible for opening the building in the morning and the security of the building at closing when necessary.
Provides tours of the building to potential customers.
Develops pet feeding/medication schedules.
Feeds/medicates dogs when necessary.
Oversees all cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
Has the ability to complete any job requirement of any staff member except the owner.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
Job Requirements:
Must complete K9 Resorts Certification Program for Assistant Manager/Supervisor, CSR and PCT
Customer service-oriented
Must work any shift outside of their schedule upon request of the GM/Owner
Weekend and Holiday hours are required
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in pet boarding / shelter environment
Some college preferred
Managerial experience recommended but not required
Technical Skills:
Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management.
General knowledge of various employment laws, practices, and employee relations.
Excellent public speaking skills
Personal Characteristics:
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
The ability to retain a high level of confidentiality.
Stress tolerance - must be able to remain calm under highly stressful and unexpected situations.
Must be dependable and responsible.
