Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for the daily care and supervision of dogs in a safe and fun environment. This role requires a passion for animal welfare, the ability to handle and care for dogs of all sizes and breeds, and a commitment to providing top-notch care and attention.

Duties:

- Provide daily care and supervision of dogs, including feeding, medicating, and large group playtime.
- Clean and maintain the facility, including laundry, washing food and water bowls, mopping and scrubbing rooms and floors, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Assist with pet grooming and bathing as needed.
- Handle and care for dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with special needs.
- Administer medication and provide special care to dogs.
- Assist with overnight care as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of dog care, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and veterinary visits.
- Communicate effectively with dog owners, including providing regular updates on their pets' activities and any concerns that may arise.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in animal care, pet grooming, or dog training is preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, as needed.
- Ability to handle and care for dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
