We are a well-established doggy daycare facility in the heart of Downtown Birmingham, close to UAB. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team and provide exceptional care for our furry friends. This is a fast-paced job with lots of cleaning, not a lot of downtime, and very loud. You must have reliable transportation, excellent time management skills, and prior group dog management experience is preferred. We do open group play managing up to 40 pets at a time. Please do not apply if you do not have an excellent work ethic, you won't last (just trying to save us both time!)

Doggy Daycare Attendant

Responsibilities:

Supervise and interact with dogs of various breeds and sizes in a safe and controlled environment. Ensure the well-being, safety, and happiness of all daycare and boarding dogs. Engage in playtime, exercise, and socialization with the dogs. Maintain a clean and hygienic facility. Administer medications and follow specific care instructions for individual dogs. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients. Assist with feeding, grooming, and cleaning duties as needed. Follow all company policies and safety protocols.

Requirements:

Passion for dogs and a genuine love for their well-being. Previous experience working with dogs is a plus but not required. Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Reliability and punctuality are essential. Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. A commitment to upholding high standards of care and cleanliness.
