TRC is seeking to hire a Division Director for a national multidisciplinary engineering, planning, design, and consulting firm. The position is located in Tampa, FL, and it is a direct-hire opportunity with full benefits.

The Division Director will be responsible for managing a division team, overseeing civil engineering projects, and building client relationships to secure additional business. The qualifications for this role include a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and experience in land development.

The Division Director should have knowledge in various areas such as engineering and technology, design techniques and principles, project planning, land planning/site layout, value engineering, erosion control, building and construction, soil mechanics, fluid mechanics, environmental awareness, project financial metrics, client and personal service, and relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.

Proficiency in software and equipment including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Windows operating system and computers is required.

The responsibilities of the Division Director include overseeing multiple projects or contracts, appointing project managers, participating in business development activities, reviewing and approving project documents, establishing project objectives and performance standards, monitoring project adherence to schedules and budgets, performing civil design calculations, planning and designing engineering projects, overseeing feasibility studies, and analyzing various data.
