Minimum Position Qualifications:
+ Store Management experience + System and software knowledge
+ Ability to establish priorities
+ Ability to anticipate consumer trends
+ Ability to project and react to business issues
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
Essential Job Functions:
+ Responsible for development of annual budgetary goals and plans to implement for labor, shrink, safety, technology, loss prevention and other operatingexpenses initiatives for the division. + Develop annual capital requirements plan for inclusion in the business plan work of the division.
+ Work with each Department Manager to agree on short term and long-term objectives, business plans and goals for labor, safety, shrink loss preventionand technology.
+ Works closely with Merchandising and the stores to improve performance and develop metrics to measure the department's effectiveness with labor,safety, shrink, loss prevention and technology.
+ Provide input on contractual issues, including language, wage and benefits that will improve the division's competitive wage position.
+ Responsible to ensure the Division implementation of all elements of the STAR program.
+ Ensure that thorough accident/incident investigations for WC and GL claims are completed within 7 days of event, ensuring 85% compliance throughtraining.
+ Responsible for reporting of accidents/incidents.
+ Responsible for monitoring and identifying accident/incident trends and the development of actions plans for improvement.
+ Monitor and ensure the Division is complying with the Enterprise ORM-D / Hazardous Material. Review reports related to DSI compliance audits.
+ Responsible for training, follow-up and ensuring store management accountability on division shrink and loss prevention objectives.
+ Implement "Best Practices" to improve work processes.
+ Work collaboratively with division, store and corporate management to implement CAO and maintain Enterprise I.S. standards throughout the division.
+ Develop plans for the deployment of store technologies, measure the effectiveness and provide plans and execution for continued training as necessaryto maintain proficiency levels.
+ Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.
+ Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
