The Distribution / Receiving Technician plays a key role in ensuring medical supplies and equipment are received, stored, and delivered accurately and efficiently. This position supports multiple departments by using computerized inventory and distribution systems to ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality, safety, and accuracy standards.

The technician is responsible for handling medical and surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, lab supplies, and procedure trays across the distribution center, storeroom/warehouse, pharmacy, lab, and patient care areas.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately receive, store, replenish, and distribute supplies and equipment
#####
Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all work

Communicate clearly and professionally with internal customers and team members
#####
Provide excellent customer service with a focus on department satisfaction

Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
#####
Participate in annual inventories and weekly cycle counts
#####
Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock to ensure proper usage
#####
Follow departmental policies and safety procedures at all times

Minimum Qualifications
#####
Education:
#####
High School Diploma or GED required
#####
Experience:
#####
Previous supply chain, distribution, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred
#####
Licensure / Certification:

DOT Medical Card required
#####
Valid Driver's License required
#####
Acceptable driving record with no moving violations in the past three years preferred
#####
Ability to provide a certified driving record annually
#####
