Job Description
Position Summary : AutoZone Guards are responsible for the security of assigned AutoZone facilities, company employees, visitors and company assets.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized entry onto premises and into facility -
Develop and maintain professional relations with AutoZoners and visitors and ensures appropriate courtesy to everyone -
Ensure optimal levels of communication with AutoZoners and visitors and properly document required information -
Interacts with over-the-road drivers and AutoZone drivers -
Answers phones and directs incoming calls -
Utilizes current warehouse systems to check in and stage incoming freight -
Documents visitors to facility and issues parking permits to visitors and temporary employees -
Ensures compliance with all security and safety procedures -
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
REQUIRED:

High school diploma or GED -
Willing to work any days/nights and hours as needed to include weekends and holidays -
Ability to perform successfully in an unsupervised environment -
Good telephone, verbal and written communication and comprehension skills -
Good people skills; will be first point of contact with the public -
Dependable and prompt
PREFERRED:
* Previous security guard experience
