About the Role:

As a Dispatch Coordinator, you'll be at the center of daily trucking operations--assigning loads, guiding drivers, supporting customers, and ensuring every shipment moves on time. You'll be the key connection point between drivers, warehouse teams, and clients while helping maintain efficiency, safety, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assign routes and dispatch both company drivers and owner-operators Monitor freight movement using GPS and dispatch management systems Communicate clear pickup and delivery instructions Quickly respond to delays, breakdowns, or scheduling changes Provide accurate load-status updates to customers and internal teams Ensure DOT hours-of-service regulations and company policies are followed Coordinate loading and unloading times with warehouse staff Enter shipment details, updates, and documentation into the system Deliver strong customer support and resolve inquiries promptly

What You Bring:

Previous dispatch or trucking logistics experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong multitasking abilities and calm under pressure Familiarity with transportation regulations and trucking procedures is a plus Comfortable using dispatch software, GPS tracking tools, and computers Sharp problem-solving skills and quick decision-making Highly organized with great attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
