Clinical:
Assures a therapeutic environment for clients, including client comfort, rights, education and participation
Assures implementation of program standards in regard to client hygiene and iatrogenic problem prevention
Maintains client's daily schedule to provide consistency, stability and appropriate activities
Evaluates appropriateness and effectiveness of therapeutic activities
Implements clinic admission criteria in conjunction with Medical Director
Manages clients LOS to meet multiple goals
Implements multidisciplinary treatment planning process
Documents according to clinic and accreditation standards
Supervisory:
Monitors and evaluates staff performance on an ongoing basis
Maintains appropriate employee records
Recruits and screens potential staff
Coaches staff to address behavioral standards, performance and excel process
Provides regular and ongoing staff education
Creates an environment conducive to staff growth
Assures compliance with TJC, Medicare, state licensure and hospital standards
Budget:
Develops and implements budget in cooperation with administrator
Maintains staffing according to budgeted FTE's
Reviews/performs audits related to clinical documentation, charging, coding and daily analysis of revenue
Operations:
Conducts monthly staff meetings
Coordinates and implements process improvement initiatives
Participates in hospital committees
Works collaboratively and cooperatively with Medical Director
Maintain complaints/grievances according to policy
Maintains policy and procedures
Coordinates and develops growth/marketing for program
Requirements:
Graduate from a state-approved school of nursing, social work or other appropriate health-related field. Master's Degree required.
State licensure if applicable.
Previous program management experience or acute care hospital experience.
