Position Overview

: SeaView Community Services is seeking an experienced and dedicated

Clinical Director

to oversee our outpatient services, which include

Assertive Community Treatment

,

Home-Based Family Treatment

,

Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder services

, and our

7-bed Sober Living facility

. This leadership role requires a strong clinical background, a commitment to community-based care, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

:


Oversee and manage operations of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Home-Based Family Treatment, Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder services, and Sober Living, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to licensed and non-licensed staff, supporting their professional development and ensuring the delivery of effective, client-centered care. Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated care and a seamless continuum of services for clients. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual and family needs, promoting recovery and well-being. Ensure effective program operations, including budget management, staffing, and resource allocation. Lead outreach efforts and establish collaborative relationships with community partners, referral sources, and other stakeholders to support program growth and accessibility. Foster a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented environment for both clients and staff, emphasizing client empowerment and family engagement. Oversee data collection and reporting to support program evaluation and improvement efforts.

Qualifications

:


Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

LCSW

(Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred;

LPC

(Licensed Professional Counselor) or

LMFT

(Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) will also be considered. Must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Alaska. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in outpatient behavioral health services, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Demonstrated experience in community-based treatment, mental health, and substance use disorder services. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, client-focused environment. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, recovery models, and family-centered treatment.
