SALARY: $120,000- $142,500 (bonus eligible)

LOCATION: Northeast/East Coast (Remote Philadelphia/Remote Virginia)

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Director of Small Format Retail Sales is responsible for leading our efforts to build and implement retail strategies to deliver our commercial priorities across EG America and GPM. In this role, you will lead a team of Key Account managers to implement a structured retail sales process designed to understand performance opportunities, build local account plans and develop category strategies to drive growth for AB brands. This role will work cross functionally with our internal and external partners and develop relationships with local customers to execute AB sales objectives including, volume, share, distribution, shelf space and promotion opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage, Coach and Mentor NRS Retail Sales KAMs and Region Sales KAM Teams
  • Grow sales and share within both accounts
  • Provide total account management; execute Top to Tops, buyer meetings, sell-in programs and brand promotions
  • Utilize entire suite of sales tools (BIR, IRI, Power BI, etc.)
  • Maintain active communications with Commercial and Wholesaler personnel
  • Evaluate strategies and action plans against allocated budget; manage budgets
  • Contribute to the development and management of annual account plan
  • Be aware of wholesaler\'s pricing to chain account(s)
  • Develop and maintain current and new relationships
  • Team First Mentality & ability to multi-task with numerous stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize deadlines and tasks


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS/BA degree in business, finance, marketing or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of retail initiatives (On and Off Premise)
  • Advanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • High level of expertise in analyzing information and making data driven recommendations.
  • Strong familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures is preferred.
  • Effective communications/presentation, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills.
  • Field and retail sales experience in the beverage industry or other consumer product industries.
  • Understanding of wholesaler network/processes and wholesaler equity agreement.
  • Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment
