This role serves as the Teva Medical\'s liaison with the patient advocacy community in assigned therapeutic areas, which may include Movement Disorders and Mental Health Conditions. This role is responsible to build meaningful, long-term relationships with advocacy groups on a national and regional level to address needs and to support patient advocacy goals in alignment with Teva Medical\'s objectives.

Travel Requirements: 35 to 50% annually including some weekends. Very variable by season with some seasons having 50% or more travel including some weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead relationship development, activities, and bi-directional communications with key advocacy and professional societies to ensure productive ongoing partnerships based on shared patient-focused objectives including advancement of innovation, disease awareness and equitable access to care. Allocated for approximately 40% of time.
  • Develop and implement plans that bring the patient perspective into Teva Medical\'s decision making and represent advocacy collaborators\' perspectives through insight generation. Share insights as appropriate with clinical and commercial. Allocated for approximately 30% of time.
  • Ensure collaboration with internal partners, including but not limited to global development, global medical, medical, brand, market access, government affairs/health policy to optimally manage relationship to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies. Allocated for approximately 10% of time.
  • Champion the patient perspective, ensuring patient centric approach and engagement in organizational activities. Allocated for approximately 10% of time.
  • Strategically manage budget funding patient and caregivers initiatives through compliant internal review. Allocated for approximately 10% of time.
Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor degree and 5 years of industry/non-profit/relevant professional experience
  • 3 years of specific patient advocacy, policy, government affairs, patient education/engagement or similar experience
Preferred
  • 10+ years of industry/non-profit/relevant professional experience
  • 5+ years of specific patient advocacy, policy, government affairs, partner education/engagement or similar experience
