We're searching for enthusiastic, organized, and people-loving individuals to oversee all front-of-house (FOH) and bar operations. The Director of Services ensures exceptional guest experience and consistent service delivery across all catered events. From elegant weddings to lively corporate parties, you'll be the key link between upper management and event operations--balancing hands-on oversight with strong organizational planning to ensure consistent service quality, staffing efficiency, and positive client experiences.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide daily leadership to the FOH Manager, Bar Manager, and their teams, ensuring cohesive operations across all events.
Lead recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for all FOH and bar positions (servers, bartenders, co-leads, event managers, etc).
Partner with FOH Manager to ensure proper service execution, staffing levels, and adherence to event timelines.
Serve as the on-site senior contact for high-profile or complex issues.
Collaborate with Training & Development Director for onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development.
Manage and maintain the company's skeleton schedule, ensuring adequate coverage based on seasonal demands and event forecasts.
Reinforce service expectations, hospitality standards, and company values across all event teams.
Support quality control by attending events periodically to assess service execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and document service procedures to enhance operational efficiency and communication.
Oversee all service departments to maintain consistency in hospitality, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of hospitality or catering experience, with at least 2 years in multi-department leadership (FOH/bar/event operations).
Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop mid-level managers and service staff.
Experience with staffing, scheduling, and labor cost management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, staff, and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to stay calm, organized, and decisive in high-pressure event environments.
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, alcohol compliance, and event logistics.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
