Position Summary

Responsible for transforming a managed service organization into a platform and enablement services provider that empowers product and system engineering teams to seamlessly integrate their own systems. Collaborate with product management, existing engineering leadership and engineering teams to create, refine, socialize, gain organizational buy-in, and execute on a plan to decentralize domain expertise and execute integration engineering. Ensure platform technology components are built with speed and quality according to standard patterns and practices. Essential Job Functions * Engineer integration platform solutions that become value delivery multipliers for the users of those solutions

• Shape a team-oriented, collaborative engineering culture with a bias for delivering high-quality, sustainable outcomes
• Ensure operational effectiveness of all deliverables and manage the accumulation and remediation of technical debt
• Propose, develop, and drive strategic initiatives within KTD, working closely with product management, business partners and the engineering community
• Provide leadership to ensure clarity among ongoing work and the strategic objectives of the company
• Use strong business acumen to drive outcomes against organizational objectives
• Communicate with associates and senior management on the vision, strategy and plans for the integration engineering group
• Develop and motivate high performing teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
• Drive for continuous improvement in operational efficiency of the department and the broader organization
• Deliver desired outcomes within approved budget
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

Minimum Position Qualifications * Bachelor\'s Degree in computer science/engineering or related field

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineering leader of large teams responsible for delivering platform capabilities used by other software engineering teams
• 10+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering roles
• Any experience in business case development, product scoping and project planning with Development teams
• Strong large work group performance management experience
• Demonstrated understanding of large, multi-region hybrid cloud deployment models
• Demonstrated knowledge of microservices architecture and domain driven design
• Demonstrated written, oral, and presentation/public speaking communication skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse groups of people
• Ability to think and contribute at the strategic level
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a bias towards accountability and action

Desired Previous Experience/Education * Master\'s Degree in computer science/engineering or related field

• Any experience in sustainably managing data integrations in a hybrid COTS, SaaS and bespoke microservices environment
• In-depth technical knowledge with ETL tooling, messaging platforms such as Kafka and related Azure and GCP cloud capabilities
