We are seeking a motivated and caring Direct Support Professional to join our team! In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and independence. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive environment where clients can thrive and achieve their goals.

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting any concerns promptly. Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance. Prepare nutritious meals, assist with cooking, and maintain cleanliness in living spaces to promote a healthy environment. Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges. Document care activities accurately, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with team members about client progress. Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and independence.

Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings. Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and autism support. Certification in CPR and First Aid; experience with HIPAA compliance is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts. Strong skills in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient care documentation. Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills; experience working with people with disabilities or developmental disabilities preferred.
