Position Summary:
Victory's Village is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable
Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This is a part-time role offering a consistent weekly schedule, ideal for those looking to make a meaningful impact in the afternoons and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, and household tasks
(feeding, toileting, bathing, lifting, and transferring)
Support clients with social, recreational, and community engagement activities.
Implement individual service plans (ISPs) and behavior support strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and required training (CPR/First Aid, etc.).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Must be dependable, patient, and have a passion for helping others.

Important Role Expectations: 1. This position involves meaningful emotional labor. Direct Support Professionals work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities and may support individuals through behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, and daily routines.
2. Consistency is critical. Individuals rely on familiar, dependable support, so reliable attendance and schedule commitment are required.
3. This role is best suited for individuals seeking a long-term opportunity. We ask for a minimum commitment of 6-12 months to ensure stability and quality care for those we support.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
