Position Requirements
Be There Home Care provides and pays for all required training. The requirements to be a certified DSP are:
1. Minimum age of 18 years.
2. Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history background check, with required annual
renewal.
3. Current and maintained certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
4. Completion of all required DSP core competencies (Tier 1 & Tier 2).
5. Oregon Intervention System (OIS) certification (required for supporting individuals with a Positive
Behavior Support Plan - PBSP).
6. Valid Driver's License (required if client transportation is part of the role).
Be There Home Care LLC pays a training rate equal to minimum wage for all initial training. Minimum wage
remains in effect until the employee is eligible to work as a certified DSP.
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
