Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Direct Care Worker, located in Philadelphia, PA. The Direct Care Worker will be responsible for providing compassionate and professional care to clients in their homes. Daily tasks include but are not limited to assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility. The Direct Care Worker will also provide companionship, support client independence, monitor their health status, and report changes in condition to healthcare professionals. Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring a safe, clean environment are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Experience in providing compassionate care to individuals with varied needs



Skills in assisting with activities of daily living including personal care tasks



Ability to monitor and report on clients' health and wellbeing



Strong communication and interpersonal skills



Basic knowledge of home safety and emergency procedures



Ability to work both independently and as part of a team



High school diploma or equivalent; certification in healthcare or related field is a plus



Previous experience in home care or related field is preferred



Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus
