Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
Lead food preparation activities, overseeing the entire kitchen operation during your shift to maintain efficiency and safety.
Manage inventory control to ensure proper stock levels, minimize waste, and optimize food costs.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Collaborate with the menu planning team to develop innovative dishes that align with the restaurant's culinary vision.
Oversee catering and banquet food production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals for events.
Requirements
Proven experience in fine dining or restaurant kitchens with a strong background in food preparation and service management.
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and handling procedures.
Hands-on experience with inventory management, food production, and kitchen operations.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong understanding of menu planning, catering operations, and shift management within the food industry.
